Google Panda update 4.0 is in progress ? What ? Google has done Google Panda update 3.9.1 few days back on August 20th and they have rolled out the next update in few days? It has been seen that Google has been updating Panda updates on the end of each month and from last 3-4 months they have been rolling Panda updates.
There have been many threads in different Internet marketing forums and webmaster world confirm that there has been a Google panda update in September. People have been saying that there is a large drop of traffic from search engines and many webmasters has complained about this.
Most of the web masters has seen an increase in traffic as well. Search engine roundtable has also says that it is a kind of rumors of Google panda update. Should we call it Google panda update 3.9.X or will it be Google panda update 4 ?
According to research it is sure that it is Panda update and it is not penguin update. It has been scene that most of the search engines traffic got affected from penguin updates not from panda fresh so every one has been waiting for Google penguin update.
If we could see Mozcast from last few days, we can see that it has been between 55-65 but today it was 88 degree so it was clear that search engine got updated today.
Mozcast is the service from Google to check out the weather of search engines and we can track that how it is getting progress !

How ever there has been no confirmation from Google via twitter. It has been seen that most of the finance websites has been hit by this update. Check your Google analytic and see whether you are safe or not ? Have you seen any kind of increase in traffic or not ?

As far as I know, it should be Panda 3.9.x not the complete Panda 4.0. Google should do a blog post on the roll out, and according to my guessing. They are now more concerned about rolling out major update to Penguin, instead of Panda

I have seen a 10% drop in traffic since Sep 13. It is too soon to say if it is due to an algorithm change or some random factors.
Btw, Mozcast is a service from SeoMoz, not Google.

I do not know what is google is up to but I think this is only a rumor as google have already penguin update so why would it need to update panda as its already working very well and those sites which are hit by the penguin those are due to spam links and site which are hit by the panda those site are using copy content.
